Kevin Yarger

Kevin Yarger has been a percussionist for over 20 years. In that amount of time he has won numerous awards and honors as both a soloist and member of various ensembles.

Attending Millikin University as a music business major, he found himself in the universities recording studio, recording drum tracks for various projects for his fellow classmates as well as performing in the schools percussion ensembles and concert bands.

Upon graduation Kevin started teaching privately and at one point was teaching almost 60 students a week in his lessons studio.

He has recorded and performed with various acts such as:

-Nelly’s Echo(season 3 contestant on “the Voice”)

-Jennifer Westwood and the Handsome Devils(Detroit, MI)

-Scott Marek Band

-Dan Hubbard and the Humadors

and many more.

Currently Kevin lives in central Illinois with his wife, daughter and a loud mouth jack russell terrier. When not spending time with them or sitting behind his drums he enjoys playing baseball throughout central Illinois.
